If you missed the book signing Thursday, we had fun sharing “Buddy” stories (although only one of us actually knew Buddy) and listening to his music. Author Gary Moore enjoyed being in Post and graciously signed some extra copies of his book, “Hey Buddy.” So, if you couldn’t get by for the book signing, come by the store and pick up a copy of the book, signed & dated by the author on the 52nd anniversary of “the day the music died.”

Welcome to Ruby Lane Books! A historian once commented that every town needs a living room and our book store meets that need in Post, Texas.
We have an ever-changing inventory of used books and discounted new books with enough rare books mixed in to grab the attention of any serious collector and we're happy to special order for you. And, just for fun, we’ve added some unique jewelry, art, notecards and some luscious handcrafted scarves. Plus, collectible gnomes and the work of local artisans!
Stop by and say hello when you’re in Post! We’re on historic Main Street just southeast of McDonald’s. We’re open Tuesday – Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm.

Stop by and enjoy the current StreetsArt exhibit by store owner Rosa Latimer. The digital photography on canvas is a series featuring grafiti, street murals and other “street art.”

Post artist Polly Cravy has created unique angels made with materials she found on her ranch. Each is original and only available at Ruby Lane Books. This is just one example of Polly’s talent; she also works in oils and water color as well as textiles.
We’ve recently exhibited two pieces by Cleburne photographer, Mark McPherson. One features the vivid painted doors of Canyon Road in Santa Fe, NM. The other is 3 stained glass windows in the First Methodist Church in Dallas.
